lankawheels.com provides a FREE service for vehicle sellers and buyers. Sellers can advertise their vehicle free on our site.Buyers can search a car which matchs to them.Any vehicle related company can list their company free of charge in our database and anyone can serch that database by the city. Thera re many more valuble services in our site.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
Sri Lanka has rapidly growing IT background.So our opinion is we need to provide required services online, to the people to help them be with the technology.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
Personally my first web site was www.colombonet.com. It was a community web site targeted young people.Now its not online.It was online from 2003-2005
How did you decide on a name for your website?
We are Srilankans. So we needed to have our country name on it. so we took it as the first part and second part is the feild which we are targeting.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
We are different! Our site has a comprehensive searching system which cannot be seen in any of the Srilankan vehicle site. We cant see any other site provides users to manage their Ads as much as us. Vehicle companies can't advertise them through a site other than lankawheels.com
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Our eventual goal is to make lankawheels.com the best and 1st place to find a vehicle in Sri Lanka.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
We have a very courageous team who has a great interest in vehicles and web.They are highly qualified IT engineers and we are able to share our time for lankawheels.com very easly.We are not going to earn through this site.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
We will populate our name as much as possible.Because we have already provide the technology. So we just need to get this site to the public

What has been your biggest challenge?
At the moment Srilankan people hasnt exposed to ecommerce as much as we need. that is the biggest challange
